Safety First!<\/h5>\n

Since it is an aerosol<\/a> product, common sense should prevail. Please ensure that Champion Grip is used in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors. Always spray away from yourself. Remember - only a small amount is needed per bowl.\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Shake the can!<\/h5>\n

This cannot be emphasised enough! Shaking the can means shaking it not only before you begin spraying, but also between bowls. With the first use of the day, ensure that the can is shaken for at least 20 seconds (in the summer), or 30 seconds in the winter. The colder the clime, the longer the shake. For subsequent applications (in the same session) the shaking time can be markedly shorter (for example 5 seconds), just to help resuspend the active particles in the formulation.

The can contains exactly the correct amount of diluent to prevent clogging if it is shaken with each and every application. This ensures full use of the product right up to the end. \n <\/p>\n

About the nozzle<\/h2>\n

From time to time, the nozzle may become clogged. This is not a malfunction. The same procedure should be followed as, for example, hairspray - soak the clogged nozzle in a cup of warm water for 3 - 5 minutes, and then spray it clear. A spare nozzle is included with every can to keep you spraying when you don\u2019t have time to unclog the first one.

Do the 2-finger grip test: treat your bowl with Champion Grip, as directed, and polish to a high shine. Take a spray bottle with a fine mist setting, and thoroughly spray the bowl. Using only your thumb and middle finger, grip the bowl on the tread and lift it up. You will be amazed at the level of grip you will have. This is extremely good for your bowling psyche. \n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Never underestimate the effect a good grip can have on your game! <\/h5>\n

The leading cause of poor deliveries is an overly-tight grip. Tight muscles can never achieve a smooth delivery and release, both critical components of an accurate delivery. Once you have done the 2-finger grip challenge, your brain will be convinced of the security which Champion Grip delivers, and your game will improve immensely!<\/p>\n

As critical as a good grip may be, it is not the only aspect of the bowling action required for a good delivery of your bowl. Good technique and form is also very important.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n

Cradle Grip<\/h5>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Some players make use of a \u201ccradle\u201d grip to hold the bowl. It is our belief that the cupped grip is far inferior to the \u201cclaw\u201d or \u201cfingertip\u201d grips, and was developed by players as a work-around for other issues. Some of these issues may include: small hands; sweaty hands; wrong size bowls; ignorance; habit. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Claw Grip<\/h5>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

The claw grip is used by the great majority of champion players, for the simple reason that it produces a more repeatable and clean release, without the \u201cwobbles\u201d. A good, secure grip on the bowl, provided by Champion Grip, can ease your transition to the \u201cclaw\u201d or \u201cfingertip\u201d grip to improve your delivery in leaps and bounds!

Carpet Friendly<\/h5>\n

The product is completely carpet-friendly. However, since it is now being used indoors, extra care should be taken to prevent inhalation of fumes. Try to spray near an outlet or a vent, being sure that the nozzle is pointed away from you. Since the grip effect lasts a long time, you probably will not have to reapply Champion Grip during your session.Alternatively you can apply the product outdoors, or prepare your bowls the previous day.

Long Lasting & Economical<\/h5>\n

Champion Grip is especially long-lasting and thus very economical. In all-day play, most players will only need to apply before the morning session commences, and reapply after the lunch break. In rainy weather, more frequent application may be required. As soon as you feel your grip fading, it is time to reapply. Remember - it may not always be necessary to reapply Champion Grip. Sometimes all it takes is a quick polish with your cloth to re-establish a good grip. Keep your cloth at hand!

No Grass Clippings or Sand<\/h5>\n

Bowls treated with Champion Grip are very unlikely to collect grass clippings or sand. This is one of its best features. However, should some stray particles adhere to the bowls, a quick wipe with your cloth will take care of them.
